This means it will not crack under extreme temperature changes like regular glass can. Its durability has made it the glass of choice for high-end restaurants, laboratories and wineries.
It is designed to hold up to 170°C, or about 340° Fahrenheit. However, we don't recommend using this to conduct scientific experiments.
Yes, this is designed to also hold Ice cubes if you require your drink to be cooler. However please be careful of stainless-steel Ice cubes, as stainless-steel is heavy and may cause damage if thrown into any glass cup.
Yes, however do not put this in a freezer.
Borosilicate glass is used in many high-end restaurants, wineries and laboratories so it is very strong. Although just like most glass, it will eventually break depending on the amount of physical stress.
